Their PERC cell has a passive rear side that has been exposed to a laser grooving process and this in turn improves the cell efficiency significantly. Thier bifacial PERC cells have the normal black surface replaced by an AI grid which makes the rear side transparent. This lets the cell absorb light from both sides which increases its value.
